2.  Initial Assessment

We make a point of making the assessment completely informal and inclusive.
New participants will meet with our staff with their parent/carer to look at:

Individual Needs

Artistic experience

Interests

Health requirements

Support

Assessors have specific and long experience of working within the learning disability sector in a creative context.

3.  Post-Assessment process

Where possible we will try to match individuals to a class that is suitable and match what they want to do.
Venture Arts has a waiting list, which logs peoples' needs and preferences and will fit people to courses according to this. When and where a place becomes free we will book participants in for a course.
