Hulme Is Where The Art Is 2011

Following last year’s celebration of Hulme’s artistic community, Venture Arts hosted Hulme Is Where The Art Is on 30th July. It was a great day full of music, arts and crafts and workshops for all ages and all interests.

Kids printed their own t-shirts of artistic masterpieces and made beautiful hanging decorations at Venture Arts’ drop-in art workshops...

There will be a brilliant range of jewellery, accessories, art, music and home items at our craft fair in the Yard Theatre and Kim By The Sea,

The brilliant Mother Hen took a group of children on a magical tale trail and into another world of wizards, bananas and armies in Hulme Park.

We were entertained by Open Voice Community Choir and Banat dancers and tempted by the crafty goodies at the art fair in the Yard Theatre.

Kate Jablonska created a wonderful art installation for the theatre and artist Nicola Hallett displayed her paintings. Check out Kate's work at www.saatchionline.com/profile/118827
