Art in Nature and Environment
Art as Environment & Mixed media workshops are dynamic and imaginative sessions where participants are invited to experiment with organic and mixed media materials creating a variety of art work, including sculpture and installation. We study and discover different mediums – from constructing plastic and willow weathervanes for outdoor installations, casting leaves using silk paper and branches to making 3D portraits using pressed found foliage.
Art as Environment & mixed media is great if you like to experiment and investigate! When the weather is right, our workshops involve getting outdoors on walks or short trips to explore parks and places to gather materials, install temporary artwork or research new ideas.
